Born on 19 August 1967 in Hyderabad, Satya Nadella is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a large international technology company like Microsoft.  He has greatly influenced the technology world with his innovation-led decisions.  Truth has always considered innovation as the most important thing in life.  He says that I knew from the very beginning that I have an interest in creating new things.  He sees machines as friends of man.  He also attaches great importance to collaboration during work.  His father Bukkapuram Nadella Yugendra was an officer of the Indian Administrative Service.  His mother was a Sanskrit professor.

1. LEARN FROM WHAT YOU GOT IN LIFE

In the initial phase, Satya wanted to become a professional cricketer, but later he realized that his passion was science and technology.  He says that I learned from cricket, I learned from Urdu language.  Whatever I got in life, I learned from it.  Nadella received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology in 1988.  He later went to the US to study MS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

2. THINK, CHASE AND MAKE AN IDEA

Satya loves American and Indian poetry.  He has also written a book 'Hit Refresh'.  It tells about his life and career.  He has decided to spend the proceeds from this book in charity work.  They say that we get many great successes, but our future depends on how we invent things.


3. INNOVATION GETS RESPECT

In his first year of work at Microsoft, he won the hearts of colleagues and bosses.  In the year 1999, got the first executive role as Vice President.  He did a great job in the field of Online Services, Cloud Computing, Microsoft Office and Xbox Live Gaming Service.  The truth is that our industry does not respect traditions.  It just respects innovation.  In the year 2014, he became the CEO of Microsoft.

After becoming CEO, Satya wrote a letter to the employees.  In this he wrote that I am 46 years old.  My thinking is formed on the basis of my family and life experiences and on this basis I work.  Curiosity and hunger for knowledge define me.  He compares programming code to poetry, saying that the best code is poetry.


5. THE JOURNEY WAS NOT EASY

After coming to the responsibility of the company, Satya made many changes.  He released Microsoft Office for the Apple iPad.  He introduced the first class iPhone and Android apps such as Microsoft Outlook.  He introduced the company's first laptop Microsoft Surface Book.  He says believe me, my journey was not easy.


6. BUY TOO MANY BOOKS

Satya also worked at Sun Microsystems.  When he joined Microsoft company, then only 30 Indian expatriates worked in the company.  He has mastered in making Hyderabadi Biryani.  He buys a lot of books.  He says that I buy more books than I can read.
