 There is a difference in the ways of finding a job in different Age, you know how to get a great job in every age.


It is true that as age increases, it becomes difficult to find jobs.  There are many reasons why the youth get attention in the job market.  Most hiring managers in India value youth more than experience.  They feel that there is a large number of youth in the country, so more workforce can be gathered in less money.  Youth are energetic and can work long hours.  Hiring managers think that experience in a constantly changing technical and business environment is of no value.  Know what strategies you can plan for the best results of job search at different ages.


Job search at the Age of 20
                                                                                                                                                                          The biggest challenge for you in this age is to search for great opportunities in spite of having an empty CV.  You should start from school and college days.  Do an internship, help family or friends in the business.  Work for events, NGOs and projects for free.  You can also try luck for entrepreneurship. Even after graduation, there is no need to take tension. Try different experiences in five years time.  Take more risk.  Get out of your home town or country.  Focus on learning opportunities, find mentors.  Before starting, write down the skills that are felt inside yourself.  Accordingly, create online social and professional profiles.  You have a standard resume.  Practice the interview by wearing a formal dress.  Create interview opportunities with the help of a network of family and friends.

Job search at the Age of 30
                                                                                                                                                             You have tried different things, got many skills and the resume has also got better.  Find out how you can give directions to your career.  You can still take certain risks and listen to your own voice.  Reserve a few months salary for bad days. Try to learn from every interviews and interactions. Schedule 6 to 8 hours every week for search, enjoy and learn.  Look for opportunities to make an impact on your work.  Voluntarily work for a leadership role in an existing firm.  This way the big rolls can get a chance to prove themselves.  Maintain good relationships with your colleagues, clients, old bosses and industry professionals.  This can be a professional network for future jobs.  Ask your current employer to change the roll.

Job search at the Age of 40
                                                                                                                                                             It is the most productive decade of the career for most Professionals.  The biggest challenge for you during job search is to prove yourself useful in front of the new employer.  Look for opportunities to suit the impact you want to make, the tradition you want to build and the kind of recognition or satisfaction you want. Make a story of the progress made in the career so far.  Create a resume that better reflects your expertise, your brand, achievements.  Sync your LinkedIn profile with your resume as well.  Try to find a job with the help of professional network, recruitment agency and online jobs.  If you are able to tell the company that you have long work experience and are excited to achieve new goals, then the company can give itself a senior role.
