Estimates of how fast employment will grow in the telecom sector can be gauged from the data presented by the Telecom Sector Skill Council. In India, by the year 2030, about one million jobs will be created every year.

● Related Courses and Qualifications
Courses in the form of undergraduate, postgraduate
and diploma in telecommunication are being conducted in various institutes of
the country, which can be done after 12th and graduation from PCM subjects. To get
admission in the four-year Bachelor (BE / B.Tech) course in this field, the student has to take 12th
examination and Passing with Physics, Chemistry and Maths is necessary
whereas for two year PG course, BE / BTech degree in the same stream.
Admission to the degree course through JEE Mains / Advanced. For a
three-year polytechnic diploma in this field, a student must have passed 10th
with Mathematics.

telecom sector, software development sector in the telecom industry, railways,
aerospace industry, mobile industry as software engineer, test engineer,
customer support staff, product manager, power distributors, power reactor
